Strap yourself in like a backpacker on a Contiki tour, this is gonna be fun.
Join us as we take you on a trip through Spain, where we introduce to you imported beers from different regions and tuck into some of the unique tapas from those same cities.
The Regional menu:
Barcelona, Cataluña:The Beer: Estrella Damm, European Pale Lager. 4.6%. 330ml caña
A refreshing lager on tap. Our kegs are imported from Spain and served double chilled with a Crema pour at Pata Negra.
The Tapas: Patatas Bravas – A popular snack of chunky chips drizzled with spicy bravas sauce. A great stomach-liner for the beer and food feast coming up.
A Coruña, Galicia
The Beer: Estrella Galicia, Golden Pale Larger. 5.5%. 330ml bottle.
Crystal clear golden colour. Pure white head. Reasonable strength aroma – hoppy, notes of barley and grain.
The Tapas: “Pulpo a la Gallega”, a little hand of “scared” Octopus, on potato, dusted with Spanish smoked paprika.
The Beer: Cruzcampo Gran Reserva. Roasted Lager. 6.4%. 330ml bottle.
This is Cruzcampo’s best beer, brewed with different types of malt and aromatic hops, combining floral undertones with touches of fresh cereals and citrus. It is creamy, full-bodied and pleasant to drink.
The Tapas: Seville’s famous “Serrantito” slider. A mini burger of pork tenderloin, with cured jamon and grilled piquillo peppers.
The Beer: Ambar Tres Maltas, 330ml bottle.
Pours clear amber colour, topped with medium small offwhite head, nonlasting. Pleasant malty caramel nose, with some biscuity notes. An Awesome Beer.
The Tapas: Platters of Creamy, Smoked “Tetilla” cheese and bitey Manchego cheese imported from Spain.
Back to Barcelona, Cataluña
The Beer: Damm Inedit. Malt and Wheat Beer. 4.8%. 750ml bottle to share between 2.
Inedit was created in 2008 by Damm’s master brewers, Ferran Adrià and the team of sommeliers at elBulli. It is specially brewed to respect and pair perfectly with the new gastronomy, full of contrasts and nuanced flavours.
The Tapas: Pan Tumaca con Jamon Iberico. A fantastic beer deserves our “Top Shelf Tapas”. Our Jamon Iberico de Bellota is imported from Spain after being cured and perfected for 3 years. This Jamon is the world’s finest cured meat, sliced paper thin and it just Melts in your mouth.
